Becky & Alex - Clifton College - Bristol Zoo
Wedding photography at Bristol Zoo and Clifton College of Becky and Alex by Cheltenham wedding photographers Jane and Oli of Cotswold Weddings.
Becky and Alex first met whilst they attended Clifton College together. So it was aptly fitting for them to return to the school chapel for their wedding ceremony.
Becky and the bridesmaids wore beautiful dresses designed and made by Becky's mother.
Guests travelled from all over the world to attend the wedding, not least Becky's parents who flew in from Seoul, Korea.
Becky and Alex are travelling to Seoul later in the year for a traditional Korean wedding celebration.
Following the wedding ceremony a big group photograph was taken on the steps with the school as a backdrop before everyone walked around the corner to the reception at Bristol Zoo.
Clifton Pavillion with its high ceilings, chandeliers and balcony overlooking the zoo and gardens is the most elegant of settings for a wedding reception.
Following champagne and canapes guests were able to stroll around the zoo whilst Becky,Alex and their families enjoyed photographs in the gardens.
Having visited the zoo previously with Becky and Alex we already knew which areas we were using as backdrops for the photography and a particular favourite of ours is the leafy setting of the wrought iron bridge.
Speeches were before the wedding breakfast ensuring everyone enjoyed their meal with any last minute nerves gone.
All the guests had an animal mask to wear waiting for them by their place setting, in keeping with the Zoo theme.
The zoo closes to the public at 5.30 and it is enchantingly eerie to walk around the zoo with no one else around.
After the wedding breakfast guests reconvened for dancing to BAND
Wedding photographers Jane and Oli from Cotswold Weddings would like to thank the families and friends of Becky and Alex for their friendly and welcoming nature, we hope that you love the photo's!
